Family House Cervene Pecky

A single white cubic volume the two storey house in Červene Pečky is very much single oriented - away from the the street on the north - open towards the garden and the south sun. Inside, the central living space is dominated by a large library reaching across the two levels. Three circular skylights supply extra sunlight during the day and allow for evening stargazing from sofas below. Each skylight also represents one inhabitant. The kitchen area is connected to the main living area but separable by sliding doors. The ground level further contains a storage room, a small bathroom and an entrance hall. The entire level is in direct contact with the garden. The second floor is composed of two bedrooms a master bathroom and a study. To aid with light and temperature regulation exterior screen blinds were incorporated on all facades.
